fuel pump

hi i am new to the forum pick my van up friday carnt w8 Very Happy

its a 1997 3l turbo efi just a bit of advice for running veg does anybody know if the fuel pump is up to the job on this model i will be fitting a vow2 in line heater would be nice to know it is possible before i get the veggie burnning thanks[b]

The VOW2 heater should keep the fuel thin enough so as not to affect the pump - see my posting re veggie oil!

I added an in-line pusher type fuel pump (12 PSI) where the fuel leaves the tank to save wear and tear on the IP.

I wired the pump through a relay that is triggered when the vehicle is in the ON position (tied into the AC). It cost about $100cdn and made a big difference above 3000 RPM's.
