Recently my van also had rust removed and new panels welded in. I think your van was not so bad haha, we also found bad fiberglass work...

Hi guys, Well i've got the funbus back & i'm very happy with it. In the end i didn't change the colour to ice blue like i said i was going to, but instead, i went back to original which is a very bright white & all one colour instead of the off white & two tone that is was when i got it, so it's now back to how it was when it was first imported over here. I also had the wheels restored by a company in Ferndown called The Wheel Specialist, & they done a great job, i've had them powder coated & they are now shadow chrome instead of silver.

Thanks. My grill was painted grey when i got it, it also had a few stone chips, which is when i noticed it was chrome under the paint, so i scraped the paint off with a razor blade, it only took about an hour to do & looks so much better

Yes the chrome looks really good, mine is painted but it doesn't quite match the body paint, and it also has a stone ship showing chrome - I have the paint remover on standby LOL

The Itasha style funbus project is now under way The work is being done by Unbeatable Tints, Wraps, Signs (UTWS) in New Milton & they've done a cracking job so far, & i'll be going back in a few weeks to sort out more Anime/graphics to go on

Is the background colour of the wrap white or transparent?

I.e. if I wanted one for a silver/gold colour can they be used to add the character only or do they all come with white backgrounds?

The background colour only comes in white.

Looks like they're doing a proper job. Filler is only a temporary repair really.

I got a full respray last year and it's still looking good. They had to cut out and replace a bad repair from a side impact just behind the sliding door.

Hi, Love the bus mine has the same colour interior but not as lavish as yours, imported it as you see it, done a bit of work to the front valance and fitted a leisure battery, so all interior lights run off that, really interesting to see another...Love the dash,and front interior, mine needs a fair bit of TLC and a new/recovered front drivers seat. must find out how to put some pics up....stunning graphics!!
