yep, had a tunit chip in my old prado with 1kz-te engine, got Berima diesel to fit it.
Made a moderate difference in power but sucked more juice.
The one you are looking at is later model , probably better now and doesn't just dump more fuel in accross the board.
If I got another one I'd get one with a switch on the dash so you can turn it on & off
I dont think Berima diesel do the tunit any more as they have another one supposed to be better.
Make sure you get one that fits after the CPU and not before it .
Safari is the best but expensive. There is not much inside these for the price only a small circuit board size of a match box.
Only thing that gives a diesel more power is more fuel and cooler air and can make them run hotter.
My van actually goes alot better than the old Prado that was chiped up and had an intercooler. Maybe Japan CPU is already beefed up a little bit.My mates Japan import Prado went heaps better than mine thats why I got it chiped in the first place and still was not as good as his.
Lot of homework to do on these things , let me know what happens
