Sorry Hermann I'm not sur what you are looking for.

I doubt many of us go wading
I'd do a cross reference for the air intake plate...see what else it was fitted to..then search for snorkels for that
Otherwise something from another vehicle with a bit of fabrication...maybe make your own
Something flexible from a land rover accessory place may work

The air intake is pretty high though........you really going that deep?

Snorkels aren't just used for keeping air intake above the waterline but also so the intake sucks dust/dirt free air. Another advantage is that the air is also cooler 6 feet above the ground than it is at 2 feet.

Snorkel fitted to the new defender looks like the goods... Found it in the latest 4WD Action Mag. I need something like that too!!!

Hi there everyone.., just joined up with the forum because I am after a snorkel as well for my Hiace.., and it looks like we are all in the dark..!! the best I have found is an after-market parts supplier in Japan that has them but will not sell outside of Japan to any other country.., I have however found some pic's on google images of the actual item so I think that I am going to have a go at glassing one up myself.., I will keep you posted if I make any headway on this one..., in the meantime we can 'drool' over the image shown in this link to the un-helpful Japanese site..!!

Hay Hootizz, I got one if you want it? Its brand new factory snorkel that i purchased 6 months ago but never got around to installing it and now i've decided i will be selling my van at the end of the year. So if you want it it's yours for $250. PM me if your interested.

Yeah yeah i know Dave, never thought i would be thinking this but all good things come to an end.. My girlfriend and i have decided to sell every thing and travel around Australia for a few years or more.. We have a deposit on a slide on camper and will need a true 4x4 to get to all the remote places. I really don't want to sell it but need the cash. My dad would have bought it but he has already gone out and got him self a Nissan Elgrand and is happy. Oh well if i can save enough cash in the mean time i might be able to keep it and lend it to a friend but will have to see.
