Hiace 4x4 H100 super custom vs H200 for campervan

Hi there,

I've sold my HiACE Super Custom 1994 4x4 (see photo) and am looking to build a new campervan for winter travel.

Now I can get a Super Custom 4x4 1996-2002 or a new H200 2004+ AWD.
How do they compare in terms of:

• 4x4 capability
  
• Ground clearance
  
• Maintance needs
  
• Space available
  
• Other considerations.

Sorry, can't help with this one. But after importing a Super Custom into the UK, I would say one of the most important things is availability of spares - especially the large, expensive stuff like windscreens and suspension parts.

There are now three videos on the channel, I think, that describe how the project will map out. It would be much more expensive than another H100, but the rationale and products seem very sound to me.

I bought a 4WD HiAce 2019 (model GHD200) with a 1GD diesel 6-speed auto. There is less ground clearance than super custom, but I might put in a lift kit later if needed. Mainly keen to get up and down the ski roads.
