| My front windscreen wipers seem really slow to me (even on max speed). Does anyone know if this is something I should worry about or is this normal? Any suggestions? | |

| Mine run slow as well. It turned out that the middle one had a loose bolt on the spigot(?!) that hold the mechanism to the body of the van. Check these first, that they're not loose against the body.
Unfortunately for me the thread has gone on mine so I've had to use some thread stop glue, which sort of works, but some days they run slower than others.
Hope that helps?

| Hi Rich thanks for this. Any idea how difficult it is to get to all this? Does it involve removing the dashboard? | |

| In my view there isn't really a dashboard, just bits of trim, an instrument cluster and various switches mounted on a couple of tubular steel tubes that go from side to side.
So I'd suggest taking the biggest most obvious bits of trim of first below the dash and see what you see. A torch, mirror and local contortionist may help. | |

| Not sure how to get to the back of the wipers to be honest. You want to check the wipers where they affix to the bit on the front of the van. There's a little nut that hides under a plastic bit holding the arm onto the mechanism. There's a huge nut holding the mechanism to the front. Check those are all tight enough. If they are fine it can't hurt to squirt some WD40 or silicone lubricant on the nobbly bit that the arm affixes to. | |
