Subject: Help?Rear seats back IN? Sun Feb 18, 2018 9:26 pm
I have a 1996 auto model. I bought it from a previous owner who had all the seats taken out. Ive managed to get 3 extra seats right behind the driver in (1 single seat plus 2 swirl seats next to eachother). But now id like to include the 3 seater at the back in. I cant manage to feed the seat stand with Little wheels (with the little plug that helps the whole lot slide back and forward) in beyond the first feed. Ive taken the bolts that is in the way before the entrance of the railings out and moved the carpet to get more space, but it wont do it. Am i missing something? Is there any info online on this? I hope this makes sense?

I think you need to have the seat lever pulled while inserting it into the channel.

Found this video online of a battle with the rear seat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzuzSJPElz4
I also found that some people had cut the stops at the back of the track so they could be slid out that way, a bit crude but effective for making them removeable/replaceable.

Thanks for this. Silly enough when I first took the rear seats out all the cables fell out of place and I could never get them right again. After watching the video and some trial and error they are back in and working correctly.

Here is the Australian video. It def made me decide to leave them in unless I really need to take them out.
