Super Custom owners get together?

Mayby a road trip to Taupo for anyone in the North Island of NZ for a day this Summer? I'm always keen to see others Super G's. Just a thought...

Hell yeah man, definatly keen. Would be great to meet some other SC drivers and compare wheels. Taupo's a bit of a drive from Warkworth but I should be able to make that.

We might struggle. I don't think that there is that many members in Nz when I think about it. You are the only one to respond so far. Would be good though!

Theres enough, just whether they can be F'ed responding to this and doing it. Change the title to 'NZ' get together maybe to get their attention.

Hey what wheels are you running?

They come stock on the Chrysler 300c. Got em cheap off the mag warehouse cause when people get there new rims on their chryslers they trade these in. There 18" and I think they got an offset of like 24p or something. Heres a pic.

They were listed on trademe. Got em for $569 completely spotless.
So many people put new rims on their chryslers there must be heaps traded in at mag and tyre places. so try your luck at your local.

Looking sweet. I told that our vans have an offset of 35. Supposed to be load rated too. You think it will be ok? Any rubbing?

Hmmm... The granny mags I had on before those were 18p or something like that. Can do full steering lock without any rubbing whatsoever.
Only little niggle is the dust cap doesnt fit on the front two wheels (see above), but I could probably find after market ones to fit if I could be e'ffed. So I guess that means the offset could go bigger again.
Just got WOF at Pitstop with no mention of load rated wheels so meh...

Na man, just the mags. I got some uber low profile tyres on them, cause I thought they'd be the closest size to match the previous wheel size with the rims being 18" but afterwards when I campared them I could have got a another size bigger in the tyres which would make it alot less bumpy than it is now.

What profile did you go with? 35's ?

Yep 35's. They cost like 6 hundy for a set
Dude warned me when I got them to go easy on them. You feel the bumps in the road ALOT more.
Kinda want to wear thorugh them faster so I can get some fatter ones on there. Maybe I needa drop some doughies around town
So are you looking at sticking some mags on your ride?

Yeah have been for a while. Don't want anything worth pinching but up for something tidy. Those fit the bill. I'm hearing ya about bumps tho. These Customs thump/shudder enough over them without putting rubber bands on. 50 series rubber might sort it? I might look for some 17's with 50's to keep it under control. I hear Falcon rims fit too. Mine is lowered and the ride is alot firmer than before at standed height. I see yours is still standed so I would not recommend lowering if you value your spine with those 35's
