| Tezza mate, I got one of these, every vehicle should have one IMO. It's way superior to the standard temperature gauge, it reacts very quick to warn you if things are getting too hot, you can set it to alarm at any temperature so you will never cook your engine if a problem arises. I installed the probe lug under a spare bolt on the intake manifold on the head. | |

| There was a Murphy switch that was on a few trucks, little problem was if you went around a corner too quick the alarm went off and lights flashed It had a sensor in the top of the rad. Good idea tho.Never thought of them for cars. | |

| I can get similar product with digital read out with loud piezo buzzer alarm you can set the alarm at any temp from minus 50C to + 1300C also has relay out put for switching on a/c thermo fan at any desired temp I have one in my van and they work a treat and only half the cost of the engine watch dog about $70.00 very easy to install ,all power is from accessory wire and uses factory relay to activate the fan and keeps all factory thermo switch settings. I set my one so fan comes on at 90C & off at 85C and alarm set at 99C you can set it to any temperature you want. anyone interested let me know | |
