| Subject: Anyone lowered their Ace? Tue Sep 29, 2009 12:40 pm | |
| I'm looking to shave an inch or so off the height off the bus, nothing drastic but having seen the pics of lowered buses, they do look better. ( andi'll be able to it in underground car parks maybe....
Has anyone here done it or know how its done?
Can you get a spring kit and if so where, or is a matter of "fettling" with teh springs and adjusting the bar at the front ?
Cheers for any help all

| Hiya, see you didn't get any answers on this . Did you lower it in the end ? I had one years ago that was already lowered but that was written off (should have bought it back again off ins !!!!) now I have another and we were wondering about lowering it but can't find springs .

| Springs are available here in New Zealand!! Uprated diameter sports springs for either raised height, standard height or lowered. They are indeed absolutely top quality springs too at a reasonable price. Generally they run from NZ$180-$200 a set. About 100 quid in UK terms. They are CobraSprings but aren't related to any of the other Cobra brand companies in Europe. Flick 'em an email and they'll give a quote for shipping too. Check out a few of their vids showing their manufacturing processes on http://cobrasprings.co.nz/ | |
