| hi guys ,new to this forum but i was looking for some information on my hi-ace and i thought i would give you my information i have a 1994 super with the works ,have owned it for just over 3 years and i have spent some money on it to improve performance have done the 3" free flow exhaust $660.00 i have also done a lpg gas conversion to it $5000.00, duel fuel at the same time ,75ltr tank need to be refilled every 6 tanks of diesel about $35.00 my beast has gone from the standard 96kw to 143kw just from the gas and has also improved the fuel consumption from 11ltr/100klm to 8.8ltr/100klm on the highway im about to also do the computer chip $1790.00 inc dyno testing which will improve the performance another 30%or more which in theary should bring the kw value up to about 180kw or a little better and also fuel eco an extra 5 to 10% so maybe down to just a little under 8ltr /100klm highway will keep you up to date with exact figures when chip is fitted im setting my hi-ace up as a towing vehicle long term for when i retire any comments greatly appreciated | |

| thank you for the welcome ,pics will be on shortly ,75ltr tank went in behind the back seat still allowing it to fold down almost flat for sleeping on,tank filler went in beside the diesel filler and the only thing you see is the guage on the dash about the size of a 20cent piece ,round with some green led's (4)and an on /off button ,there is a mecanical injector pump for the gas which has a small noticable noise at idle and low revs right under the drivers seat but you do get used to it,so any of you guys from brisbane, australia | |
