| Mine was saved from the scrap yard also. Previous owner had the cylinder head go and while it was parked uninsured it was broken into windows smashed and radio stolen. It is now almost back to how it should be. Still can't MW on the radio though.
Best of luck keep the photos coming.

| Thanx for nice comment`s. Burglery and smashing is a crime against a Toyota! Use a vw insted. Next step this winter will be to make new interior and weld some holes in the chassie. Im extreme found of fishing,so the old camper is perfect. | |

| Next week the timing belt, wather pump and fan belt will be replaced. Don`t now how old the parts are,so it`s best to replace it before breakedown. Found one that take the job for 1200nok- Perfect place for the rods. Im using the gas burner as i sit in the car and wait for the pod to beep. | |

Thinking about taking a fishing trip to France or Spain this winter. Mabye i post a littele report from the trip. Mallet! Realy BIG mallet is my dream. Has been moastly coast angling this year. 55 difrent spieces over 2 1/2 year. Need to change tactiks to expand. I think Australia is a bit long to drive, but if i kick out "The boss" i have plenty of time. Work season here in Norway. April-October. The rest is freetime.

| Did driwe over a euro pallet,so a corner of the car did fall off. About 1 kilo of plastic padding... Welded new corner between slide door and back weel. Huge amounts of rust and sparkel anywere... Seems like an newerending job too keep the hiace from the wreckyard. Painted the car white inside, black was not the finest colour. Here in Bergen. Only some small fish this trip. Visited a friend who caught a Conger conger, but i never seen one live, only photos. ME WANT ONE TOO! The 13" rods fit`s just in. Qit work for the season in about 3weeks,so now it`s time for go`fishin. Best regards. Robert.

| Have problem to get parts. Moast of the hiakks are bought for export to south Africa ore some other coyntrys. There is some old cars left, but they want sell me any parts. Insted they ask me if i want to sell my car. Gonna put the camper in a garage until it can be fixed. Need new door, front corner, frame around driwinglamp and turn signal/driving lamp. The hiakk is to faitful to end on a wreckyard. Will update when the car is back on the road again. | |

| Sorry about the photos. Server is kaputt/finich.
The old camper is back on the road again. Got parts from a wreck with rectangular lights, but no new door.
Used a pencil to paint the new parts,so the camper is now a "chabby chick" Got it approved for 2more years on the road, just some small parts that needed to be fixed.Brakes, exhaust and the cross in steering axle.
Photos of the "wreck" comes later this summer.
Summer greetings from Norway.
