I would recommend you give it a full service when you get it.. ALL oils and filters, including radiator inhibitor/anti-freeze and brake fluid. Diesels need 5000km services.. petrols can go to 10,000km.
Parts are available worldwide if you look around. Usually a post here will get you a contact for whatever you need.
If yours is a 2wd it will be 5 stud wheels. 4wd's are 6 stud.

Jas.

timing belt is a must if you dont know the history.then oil and filters.glow plugs are only needed if you are having starting problems.try getting blue point stuff if your not getting toyota original parts.take it one step at a time unless you are a money bags. Very Happy .use a good semi syntic oil also.as for lowering it probably jap sites are the only answer unless your going with air bags.good luck Smile

nice looking motor.dunno what wheels are on it ,aftermarket? im sure you will enjoy many years of motoring from your new purchase Very Happy .5 studs are 2 wheel drive 6 studs 4 wheel drive if im not mistaken.what motors have you been used to before your latest purchase and why the hiace? i bought mine coz i was after a galaxy clone(coz they looked new) until i realised that that the hiace offered more space internally.ive had mine a few years now and cant think of anything that would replace it,other than a brand new un Laughing

p.s if your engine looks like the one in the picture above then its a 3.0.oh and if its an auto then make sure its put on the back of a wagon and not dragged to your house or you could be looking at costly gearbox repair bills.

Got some good news and some bad news for you mate..
Yours is a 1989 model same as mine. LH107
Your motor will be a '3L'... 2.8litre.
I think those wheels are off a Toyota Cressida.

i have had loads of cars mainly retro 70s last 3 was a skoda rapid and the bedford cf camper now sold to but this . i have had a cressida r30 did not have those wheels on had steels, bought it for camping in luxury also to tow a box trailer to move classic scooters about vespa lambretta . my mate who i mechanic for imports them so he said i can have all the delivery work for him . i am hgv driver due to my marrage split am not working at present . looking to build it up and start delivering motor bikes trikes atvs etc.. the lady i am buying it off is in europe in her camper so i am dealing with her daughter . it will be bought blind but i am told its all ok bar battery . i will be looking to lowering it as it sits very high and changing those ugly wheels found some adapters to change stud pattern to 5x 130 porche . just love the shape stance and interior all bet now dated . but got it cheap so i can get it all sorted .
