Hey all just wondering if anyone could point us in the right direction van was running mint a day ago turned it off woke up next day to go to work selected reverse and came up on the dash reverse charm was going but no drive let it sit for a couple of minutes and tried again also nothing no forward gears either if anyone had any issues or if there’s any common issues for a A340E auto trans from a 90s super custom

Check your fluid level. If it’s both fwd and rev then sounds like classic low fluid. ATF expands a lot when hot so you may have been low when previously driving it but cooled down it may be below the necessary level. Sitting idling for a few mins and gently revving in D a few times may also get some action out of it.
