Altenator problem

Hi I gotta 99 supercustom and its killing batteries just killed new battery...altenator reads 14-15v with van running but not seem to be charging battery any ideas don't want to replace the altenator to find out it still don't charge

Also since my first battery was killed the reverse lights on the rear of the van and on the dash turn on with headlights??any help would be appreciated
