| That green - get rid of that, make sure all the contacts are nice and clean (careful with sandpaper - use very fine emery if needed - to prevent losing too much contact material. Then put a dab of grease - ideally silicone plumbers grease - with a small screwdriver as it's difficult to wash off fingers.. on each contact. The grease will stop any sparking and so make the contacts work properly for longer | |
