Hiace 280d

Hi I have a 2010 hiace 280 d 4d
It's run perfect without a problem for five years
Broke down the other night
And now the mechanics are have problems and can't get engine started to run checks
The battery light came on first
Then and a few different dash lights were coming on
And engine cut out and won't start had different mechanics look at it
I'm thinking bits a problem with ECU
As was running fine then electrical
Any body had ECU issues with this model?
The read out saying diesal plugs
Or anybody know of specialist london or south east

I found Steve at Electrum Auto Electrics (very near you - SW19 3UX) really good with an interior wiring issue I had, and also very reasonable. Not sure if they could solve an ECU problem but why not ask? Otherwise my garage C & S Autos in West Croydon has sorted out every problem I have had with my Hiace. THey certainly know the model.

2010 is too recent for the ECU capacitor leakage issue that plagued earlier vehicles but still could be some other ECU fault.
Diesel plugs? What did they mean by that? Glow plugs?
Initial thought is alternator problems because those lights coming on often indicate that, does it turn over but not start, or does it not even turn over? How is the battery? Any blown fuses?
Just thoughts.
