What country are you in , I have an 1996 3.0 1kzte camper super long semi high roof , live in yorkshire England . The first thing to look for is rust on the cills then the infamous ecu problem can be terminal, the capacitors on the board fail and gives all sorts of weird problems difficult starting being the most common, pull the dipstick from the auto box if its cherry red the oil has just been changed brownish red is normal if its black a replacement box is not far off. I do a gearbox oil change every 6000 same as the engine, auto box holds 6ltr but you can only get 2lts out. Do not buy unless you get a good test drive at 76000 it should drive perfectly especially the auto box make sure it uses all gears and overdrive. Best of luck . PS I am a stingy Yorkshireman and run mine on WVO but thats a long story.

Thanks for the great advice, I'm also a Yorkshireman, live in Sowerby Bridge, I'm totally new to this kind of vehicle but am sick of modern vehicles that just aint fit for purpose!! Driving a Vauxhall Vivaro 2016 but its going! Thats why Im looking for an older better alternative, thanks again.
