| Subject: Model Year codes - can anyone decipher? Mon Feb 17, 2020 7:19 pm | |
| Hey guys - I've been consistently browsing the Japanese auction sites (Buyee.jp) for random parts and bits for my 93 SCL.
I've been able to search with the "KZH100" chassis code to help narrow it down to specific parts for my chassis, but I noticed a lot of the Japanese listings have an additional model year code that I cannot, for the life of me, interpret. They typically start with an "H" then a random number followed by a slash "/" and another number.
Does anyone here have experience with deciphering these or am I just missing something completely obvious?
Here's a copy/paste example from a Yahoo listing for seat covers:
Product name Clazzio Junior Seat Cover Car name Hiace wagon Vehicle model KZH100 series / RZH100 series Model year H1 / 8-H8 / 7 Capacity 8 seater Conforming grade Super Custom Living Saloon EX Conformity check items Constitution Headrest · 6/7 1st row armrest · 0 2nd row armrest · 0 3rd row armrest · 1 Side SRS Side airbag: No setting Impossible grade Custom system · Super custom limited · Regius wagon (unconfirmed) Product number ET-0230 | |

| The H refers to a year in the Japanese Imperial Year system, so H1 / 8 referes to Heisei 1 or 1989, August in the Gregorian calendar.
H8 / 7 would be 1996 July.
