Hiace 100 sliding door extender / wide hinge kit

Happy new year.

Anyone know what companies in Japan (or anywhere else) sell the extenders for the sliding side door, so they clear arch extensions?

I quite fancy a set of the boxy off road style arches, but a wide opening hinge is needed to clear them.

I know it's no help to you, but look at what the crafty Japanese did to ours:

The side door now opens upward (which is a pain if you're parked next to someone because you can't open the door!)

That van is bonkers! But I'm not sure an opening upwards door is the solution on this occasion.

some searching on here suggested that there was a japanese company called 'plotdog' that used to sell the hinge kits, but I can't find them online anymore.

Yes, I did find some for sale on Japan Yahoo auctions, however I'd decinded against going for the wide arches and went for the slimmer ones (which I haven't bothered to fit anyway).
