I did it! I bought a 1996 Hiace super custom living saloon but it had some rear damage. I fixed it up by now I’m looking for the rear stickers/decals for both rear quarters. I managed to find the living saloon stickers. Can any help me with the pinstripe stickers that I need?

Where did you find the Living Saloon stickers. I'd love to get some replacement "Cruising Cabin" stickers. One had to go where a dent was pulled ou. THe other is missing a bit.

Same here, I'd love to get some new decals for my SCL, as mine are severely UV damaged. I've considered utilizing my wife's Photoshop skills to recreate them from some photos someone took for me of their pristine decals. There's a local shop here that could print them. Finding new old stock would be far better though!

I think I priced that out once and it was upwards of $800 for the entire van. The shop here said they'd print and install for half that amount.

So I gave up on looking for the side stickers. I found a local body shop and they took the remaining stripes off the van, and put on the "Living Saloon" stickers and repainted the entire van. It looks amazing. Ill post pics soon.

Here is the updated Van without the side decals, just two tone paint...did a video too. The side decals I looked all over Japan, all I could find (at the local dealer no less) were the Living Saloon stickers. Ill look for the Cruising Cabin ones here if you still need them. Let me know..

Great video!! Spooky how similar your van is to how mine was pre-camper-conversion. The sound of you starting the engine is identical too LOL.
Keep a sharp eye on the temperature gauge and consider my temperature gauge 'dead-spot' removal mod (here on the site), there's basically a 3V zener to the 'normally centered' temperature gauge that hides the reading from you. I.e. the gauge starts at the bottom with no ignition, but with it completely disconnected it centres when 12V is applied. Then a resistor vs the temperature thermistor moves it down and up as temperature varies - _but_ between the gauge and the resistors is that 3V zener. So you get 3V of hidden activity..
The vent on the floor is one of the heat outlets, the A/C is only on the roof, the rear heat is only on the floor. Both work well however, check your coolant is fresh and run the heating full now and again to get fresh coolant into those tiny radiators.
I modded my twin swivel seat so it would flip around the other way and lock sideways facing through the door - it's on the site somewhere! Your van does look very clean and shiny, you are obviously better than me at it, feel free to share your valet secrets here .

Wow so much to process. Here in Okinawa we barely see winter temps. But I have my mechanic do a thorough check and he has a few vans himself. I will run the heat, great tip. Right now it runs cool as a cucumber. Especially on the expressway and with temps over 90 degrees here daily that’s a good thing. Has a new factory ac compressor and the timing belt changed at 100,000km.
