Window Glass ?

I need to get a replacement window glass for the left kerbside sliding window.
Anyone know where I can get one?

It seems impossible to get because the glass is curved.

It is the standard imported Hiace Super Custom camper van 1995.

The obvious first move is to contact Toyota themselves, identify the part and see if they can get it for you.

There is usually a 2-3 week wait on items imported from Japan but they can seem to get most items.

Thank you. Will try that. Maybe insurance will cover . I was hoping for a scrap one but the vans seem very rare to be recycled.

I've done a quick hunt online and there's a few place that you can order it from, but they're all overseas. Use your credit card (so you are protected when you make the purchase).

This could be the part in stock here https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/6273695j10 . I have just used these guys for a wiper assembly part and my part is due for delivery tomorrow (having just paid Parcelforce the import duty online!).

Hey sorry to hear about the broken glass buddy, I wish all the luck with finding a replacement,
If you have a spare few mins buddy would you be able to let me know how the sliding windows are removed I’ve just pulled my whole sliding window assembly out of the van, so that I can take the windows out to tint but I can’t see how the glass is removed

That was my thinking too John. It's not exactly clear which piece of glass is what though. Last thing you want to do is order the wrong bit of glass!

There is usually a small connecting bar with 2 screws which allows the frame to be split so you can assemple the new glass. Remove the rubber and it should become visible under the gunge.
