| Hey people... I just wanted to know the specifics of how the 3 back moon/sun roofs are ment to work??? When I close them are the inside covers ment to close too??? Or do they become manual for closing??? They open fine..... Cheers!!!

| They open only as they are merely pushed out of the way. You have to close them manually.
Remember to clean and oil the moonroof cables or they gets stuck (like mine!).

| They seem to work on pushing the button but have to close manually. Main roof opens and closes on the button but the cover has to be pushed manually on close. Hope this helps | |

Just an update on the stuck moon-roof as it may not have been obvious (I'm back here searching for hints to remove the read roof-lining - i.e. the big central dome lamp!): My moonroof was stuck because no one had used it for such a long time that the rubber had bonded to the hole in the roof. There was never anything wrong with the controller or motor, cables etc: all it needed was to go around the outside freeing off the rubber and it worked fine again, so if you have a new import or a van that has not been used for a while - check it's not just a bit stuck from disuse | |
