| So, I'm trying to change a rear indicator bulb, and undid the two PH3 screws, but the lamp assembly remains attached to the van. Not want to break it I wondered how you actually get these off?
Anyone done this? Alternately has anyone got a photo of the back of a lamp assembly? | |

| Ok, found a pic: The problem I had was the sticky foam seal grabbing on. One has to easy them out, and then push them into the centre of the car to release the two hooks, the top hook is the biggest and takes a lot of clearance to get out, and a little push to get back on. The cable plug catch is fun - you'll need a screwdriver to push that. So, quite different a design to the later Hiace design. BTW the SC has only the bottom and top lamp, top is indicator in a small amber bubble (so you can use a clear bulb), the bottom lamp is a combined 5/21 W tail/brake. | |
