| Hello, I have put a full tank of petrol in my 3.0TD manual 1994 super custom. I have not started the engine. I have contacted a few recovery places and the are quoting between £140 - £199 to drain the tank. I live in Birmingham UK. Can anyone help? Thanks. Feeling a little silly. | |

| Drain it your self, drain plug/nut on the tank. You do not need to drain it all a little petrol can help it run easier on cold starts - yep it is that time of year. Petrol in a Diesel will not seriously damage the engine, it won't run right as the petrol will explode to early. If you get someone to drain the tank ask to keep the fuel! | |
