NEEDED: Headlight cover and interior blinds

I have a 1992 Hiace Crusing Cabin I bought a little while back. It is my only means of transport and I LOVE it, drive long distances and camp out in it frequently. Way better than any new car I've owned. But I digress....
When I bought it the headlight cover was cracked and had been silicone - does anyone know where I can source a replacement. When I asked a local mechanic he looked down his nose and suggested getting parts for an "import" would be very difficult. Pfft to him.
I'd also like to replace the existing pull across curtains with slimline block out blinds - has anyone else done this with success and could give me any tips.
