Get yourself onto www.toydiy.com , put your vehicle details in find the motor part number, then cross reference it. I suspect yes same motor maybe just the fixing bracket that is not?

Tried lubing the guides to no avail, makes a hideous screech going up but fine down, motor got to hot to touch  Shocked

Once the battery is charged, disconnect the riser link and run the motor. If it spins freely each way then it will be the riser mechanism.
Screech makes me think it is the riser, the motor will get hot if it has to struggle
