Perhaps one can get that milage if you drive 70km/h w/o any hills or wind...? But I doubt it.

After reading this I decided to see what the consumption for my wee beastie is , and was pleasantly syrprised.. Surprised
I have worked it out :-

140 miles covered using 23 litres of diesel is equal to 27.8 mpg.....

Will run the test again in a couple of weeks and see if I can do any better

like I said the original advert read 35-45 but he changed it.... obviously some one asked him about it... but the comment about the overdrive shows he doesn't know what he's talking about... would you buy a van from him Suspect

Done a run down to Andover then to Worcestershire and Birmingham and back to Herts over the weekend... done 850km and was returning 30.5 mpg... I was happy with that.

I use this site http://www.torquecars.com/tools/uk-mpg-calculator.php to work it out..

if anyone could get 25mpg out of the 2.4turbo they must have sails on the top and only take it out in in strong winds that blow from the rear lol!

It must all be down to weather, air temp. etc...
because with my little Smart I get anything from 51mpg to 20mpg... usually the upper range but when in leadfoot mode it drops way down........ good fun though!!!!!!!!! bounce
