Hi folks

I'm contemplating changing the fan coupling as part of my piece-by-piece replacement of possible overheating causes Sad I've found this one on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-TOYOTA-HIACE-1989-2005-2L-3L-VISCOUS-FAN-COUPLING-/180653068354?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AToyota|Model%3AHiace&hash=item2a0fc31042 . It only lists the 2.4 (I have the 2.8 3L engine), am I right in thinking this will fit okay? Another dumb question, it looks like an easy bolt off bolt on swap, is there anything I should be wary of?

Cheers,
Pete

It looks like the part applies to 2.4 and 2.8s I have a 2.8 '92 3L engine. (edit: sorry I meant 2L and 3L)

Heres a screen shot from the Toyodiy site. You would be well advised to sign up for it, its a very useful resource in the absence of a haynes manual!

Great, thanks fellas, I'll give it a go.

Do you have to register to see the diagrams on ToyoDIY, I had a look & just saw part numbers?

Cheers,
Pete
