| Well I'm hoping to get our van back tomorrow ..new head etc .. I reckon I must have done something wrong in a former life to warrant the problems i have had with her ..I love the van but it wears a bit thin when problems rear their ugly head ..but in saying that , I know that I will at some stage get to enjoy a trip occasionally .. | Many dollars for the head? Ours still gets up to around 100 on a good pull with trailer on, it always did going up Tamborine  but no ill effects that I can see. | |

| Well got the girl back ..new head ( old one had 7 cracks and unrepairable )..new timing belt ,oil and filter , cooling system flushed and new coolant .. The purse is lighter by $3600.00 so hoping to get a lot more adventures out of the van yet .. | |

| Back from our little run to Longreach via Charleville to show our Scottish visitors some of the real Aussie outback ..The SC didnt miss a beat ..went like she was supposed to do and the temp stayed within reasonable limits aven tho the outside temps were bloody hot ..
Going to look at the next bucket list ..
