LH119 top upper control rod / ball joint

Hi Hope you can help.
I’ve a 1991 Hiace camper it’s a LH119 chassis with 4DW, it failed the DOE (Irish MOT) for too much play in the top ball joints, trouble is they are integrated into the top control arm / wishbone. I can’t source any are a fair price in Dublin. Toyota quoted me 678 for the pair and the nearest  good motor factors to me is having no luck for much less. I sent a mail to BBC spares and spoken to Mark there on the phone.  

Anybody know where to get them?

If I search the Toyota part number online I get lots of factories in china selling them in bulk but no resellers.

My VIN is LH1190015861 ToyoDiy.com says it’s a LH119V-RRPES, the base part numbers are 48066-29025 and 48067-29025. What are ToyoDiy like to order from?

Same part is used on any LH11x hiace.

Similar design on the 4WD Townace. Someone did mange to fit a replacement joint to the arm, not sure how good this was? Older Townace ones had a greasing point, some newer owners drilled one on.
Blueprint did one for the Townace.

Otherwise it is Toyota.

Yes I have a greasing point but I can't see how you could change the ball joint and pass the test. Still looking found a place in Northen Ireland that may (10%) be able to get them. Tried OZ ebay as well no luck

OK so I thought I'd found them on a German Site selling nipparts but they weren't in stock,
I might be to something, I found a site http://toyota.epc-data.com/regius_ace/lh119v/76653/chassis/4802/?color&trim
and it looks like more than once toyota part will fit but I'm not 100% sure, anybody know more?

The ball joint socket was replaced/re-engineered and a new ball inserted. A lot of work for as you say dubious quality. It was done and therefore can be done.
I would bite the bullet and pay Toyota.

Got them here in the end shipped to my door for 200 http://reindeerparts.de/ They were difficult to fit, they connect to the torsion bars, the adjusters were rusted solid so I had to get new bolt and nuts from Toyota for 20 euros
