| We're slowly leaking something and I think its fuel. Can't see any problem around the sump nut or sump. Inlet outlet for the fuel filter is dry.
Main question is whats the running order from tank to engine? Is it Tank-pump-filter-engine or something else?
Also does anyone know where the tank sits and how the fuel line runs? I mean can you access the line from below or is it completely buried in the body work?
Sorry its just I don't have a pit or hoist so I'd like to gt an idea of what I'm looking for. Very cramped under the hood and underneath even worse and very difficult to see.
Bank holiday weekend and we're stuck away from home so garage not an option short term! Pointers appreciated.

| Often you will find it is a leaking seal on the fuel pump. Some seals are a few pence and minutes to fit other a lot more and require the pump to be removed.
It may just be a fuel line leak, there are several hose to pipe joints that could be a culprit.
Hope it is just a cheap repair for you.

| Well it turned out to be a leaky injection pump as you thought Clive. Needed an overhaul and a pretty pricey business, getting the pump out and back in was around 15 hours of time, plus the overhaul at a diesel specialist. That said now we hope there won't be no more nasty surprises for a while and the pump removal meant we could change over all the belts as well.
Next up! Body work woo-hoo!
