| I found one!!! At my local Toyota dealer!
I paid $192.50 for the snorkel + $36.23 for the top mount and $5.00 for a few stainless steel bolts and washers.
All parts are available ex Toyota's Sydney warehouse as the snorkel was an option on 2000 - 2004 Hiaces and Commuters.

| Installed it today! And I did not bother using the bolts that you can buy from toyota, i went to my local Steel distributors and purchased a few stainless steel bolts and a few washers, it wont rust now! |

Don't worry about getting the bolts, the genuine ones aren't even plated and they rust rapidly, hence my using stainless steel bolts (There are only 4 required (1 x 6mm x 20mm and 2 x 6mm x 45mm + 1 x 8mm x 45mm, all at 1.5mm thread pitch) and even the stainless ones will cost less than $8.00 for the original ones) See if the dealers will give you 'trade' price on the snorkel and mounts.......it's sure to be cheaper. Failing that, check some of the wreckers for 2000 or later model Hiaces, the snorkel was a factory option on those models. Good luck. |

| I have spoken to my local Toyota dealer and it appears that I snagged the last new snorkel in stock at Toyota Australia......sorry about about that. My dealer also said that he can order them from Japan but it would take 6 - 10 weeks to arrive. Get back to your dealer and get them to back order the unit, it will take awhile but you should still be able to get one.
