Any recommendations on tyres ? My SC has light truck tyres fitted but I think that a good car tyre might be better in the wet. Any comments welcome.

There are many alternatives on tyres these days, just depends if ya bus is a 4x4 and you nedd the grip off road. Otherwise take your pick. There were about 6 choices for the alloys fitted to mine which had the correct load rating, ask your supplier and I bet he has a better road alternative. Smile

HI again Spud, Locally we have a Tyre check week where random checks are done on tyres by the police, who check ratings etc carefully.Tough if your Vanquish is on Colways. All very laudable, BUT light commercials should have C rated tyres. It is unclear what category a SC falls into. Is it a car or commercial. C rated tyres are designed mainly for loads & durability rather than wet grip. The 3lt turbo SC can be a bit tail happy in the wet on C rated tyres. Not a problem for an old rallyman like me but it scares the horses, and the boy police are not impressed when buspass holders leave a wet roundabout sideways on opposite lock with a broad grin.
