Rear wheel Profile/Load Rating/Speed Rating Empty
PostSubject: Rear wheel Profile/Load Rating/Speed Rating   Rear wheel Profile/Load Rating/Speed Rating Icon_minitimeWed Nov 23, 2011 10:09 am

Hi, I need to get a new tyre for the rear, drivers side wheel. Unfortunately the current tyres on the back don't have the load rating or speed rating on them (the front tyres are 70 profile, 88H load/speed rating). Am I safe getting the same tyres for the back? (Pretty clueless about tyres tbh). Or if not does anyone know what profile/load/speed rating the tyres at the back need to be?

Thanks.

If you are only replacing a single tyre it should match the remaining one. It is not a good thing to have differing tread patterns etc on a single axle.

Thanks for the replies guys. There is a placard on the driver's side door, but unfortunately it's in Japanese lol. I have ordered the best match I can find and will slowly replace all the tyres with ones that match the new one.

Load rating is the most important - 95 upwards.
