Waiting Waiting

Well it,s been 2 weeks now since Toyota have ordered the necessary parts to fix our SC ..no word by thursday so I rang them and was told that the expected date of arrival is 20 th October ..apparently the bearings , hub seal, and seal oil are here but waiting on the flange..a bit of frustration not being able to use our SC and just lucky our son has a car (Kia Rio 2010 sports , for sale ) that we have been able to use ..oh well one day it will all come together ..

Some bits do have a wait...longest was almost 6 weeks for me.
These things are frustrating...but once fitted and working are soon forgotten ...

A ploy used by some is to tell Toyota that the vehicle is off the road, Toyota then air frieght the parts in at no extra cost. too late now but armed for the future perhaps?

Had a call at 4pm (qld time ) lol that parts have arrived and to get the van there and they will start on it in the morning ...so they will fix it and the leaking fuel pump ..hopefully under warranty for the pump ...woopee been too long ..and just in time as the car that our son lent us was sold today ...so heres hoping no more dramas ..
