Newbie

Hi to all just found the site. I got a 1991 Hi-Ace Super Custom 4x4 2.8 diesel with manual transmission, had it since 2001 when I got it imported from Japan. Lovely bus got a few problems with it, will make a list later. Just come on to say hello to all today.

Welcome mate. After 10 years ownership you should have any bugs well and truly ironed out and a few stories to tell.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Sorry no off road stories, as for all the bugs being sorted it has been running pretty well till now haven't had to spent much on it, though it needs a bit of tlc have to priorities funds. Do go caravanning with the family and have had many a great day out in it. Just recently it started to take a while to start from cold, have to crank it over a bit where as before it fired straight away, changed the glow plugs and fuel filter but still the same, have checked the circuitry to the glow plugs tested ok, runs rough till hot then starts and runs ok. Will be checking compressions shortly when kids on hols bus needed for school run. Hopefully will get it sorted soon as I love the old girl and have a lot of days out to come.
