Light OFF-road Hiace 8782099
Light OFF-road Hiace 8513117

Continie building))
Snorkel OEM Toyota - 53980-95J01 (90.0 USD)
Tyre rack - modified tyre rack from Toyota Hilux Surf 185 (4Runner 1996-2002).
Lift +2" for rear axle (used front absorber for Toyota FJ80, because they much cheaper then +2" Hiace absorbers) and +1" for front.
After this modification you have free space for water tank.
It fits together old spare tire.

Nice van, i love it!!

Whoo! Hay some of us have been looking for that snorkel. Is that part number for our hiace? Great work with the lift too, looks about the same hight as mine and nice mod for the spare tyre. What size wheels and tyres have you got there? They look bigger than standard.

Thought i'd seen those wheels somewhere... Would never have thought they matched the hiace? Good work. Hay how does it go with the larger diameter tyres? Yours is full time 4wd yes?

Those tyres sizes are fair bit bigger, do you notice it with the auto transmission? I want to put larger tyres on too, but scared it might stuff up my auto.

I think 215/80R15 it's not BIG for Hiace.
So you can fit them without scare.
Maybe will be needs some small lift for front suspension.

P.S. Sorry, my English is not good Smile In our region more popular Chinese and Japanese

Looks good - what do you do about keeping water out of the autobox and diff breathers? They're a lot lower than the standard air intake Neutral

Snorkel not just for deep water but for cooler cleaner air. If you want to go that deep in water then yes you would have to install diff breather extensions. Very Happy

Also from Surf was taken plate in rear door.

WOW! Looks cool! Love the winch.
Is that a modified Sahara bar he put on? It looks like the front end has sagged a bit from all that extra weight though. Shocked

Yes. Used Sahara-style bumper from Surf 185.
But used bumper from China - it;s cheaper than ARB
Factory cost - 230 USD
About weight - you right.
Need to make modification of front suspension.
Because bumper weight 38-40kg and winch - about 40 kg

Can be used Alum. bumper. it's weight 12-16kg.

for front suspension we usually use KYB SR Special shock absorber.
for rear suspension - using front shock absorber from Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80
Also for rear suspension - with absorbers from FJ80 better use +2" springs.

they more powerfull then OEM Toyota

So Trooper do those front shocks stiffen the front up much? If only we could put a stronger torsion bar spring up front.

You can see the bracket here in the parts system with part numbers:

https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej/toyota/hiace-1913/rzh115-4050/rzh115l-brmrsv-595138/air-cleaner-7440228#/il-172170337

Somebody said that they cannot deliver it anymore, but you could try it with those part numbers at the Toyota dealer.
