Fuses

Can any one tell me where to find the fuses. O want to put on an accessory's and I want it to go through the fuse bx after the engine is turned on

I have a 2001 3 liter

near the left foot rest drivers side

I took me some time to get the cover of after I tries undoing all the screws I could find to no avail, then tried tugging at the back of the passengers side console wall, notices it seemed to part a little so gave it some more force and eventually the cover come of.
