| I was just wondering if one of our kiwi members could get a handle on upper control arm bushes for me . 48702 in the diagram below. You seem to get more access to parts than in Aus

I can't get them anywhere here

| Agreed but there are dealers on there and believe me there are a lot more SC's in NZ than here. | |

| TradeMe is fine sometimes but often more expensive than dealer for new parts. Go figure. For new parts I go to the local Toyota Dealership. They are very good and order direct from Japan for any SuperCustom oddities that Toyota NZ don't have in stock. (like my recent replacement front-diff driveshaft-tube bearing and holder!!). Toyota NZ are generally great for second hand import parts backup - They actually directly import and sell late model/low mileage cars themselves as well as the new cars so the parts support is a necessity. If you have no luck locally you could always try ring here and get the parts mailed across the ditch. Best local dealer is Rutherford and Bond in Porirua (defnitely better than the Wellington Branch!). The parts guys will probably get a kick out of being recommended buy a Kiwi to an Aussie on a UK based forum. | |

| $90 was quoted from local agent and they wanted money up front before they ordered and also they had a policy that they won't work on imports. My father was the Toyota agent in a small town for 20 odd years and I had never heard of this | |

Love it I'll tell my local Toyota parts lady when I'm next in there.
For any part that Toyota Uk have to order in it is payment in advance and no returns. That is why Toyodiy.com was so useful. Got a copy of a Toyota EPC now but still use Toyodiy for prices.

| Update: Just thought that I would give the local Toyota mob another go and got a different bloke in spare parts and he found 3 in Brisbane and 5 in Sydney so the 4 will be here later in the week. These are $75 each not the $90 that the other jerk wanted..
I'm not 100% sure but I think they are the same as the Tarago (Estima). For that many to be around there has to be another popular vehicle that they fit.
Thanks all for your input and help.

| If it is the bush that fits in the link and the bracket on the axle - then yes they do fit Tarago and Estima | |
