| like to say hi to everyone , thanks for checking out my thread been around fast cars for ever , and being a moto-x racer for as long as i can remember ive always had a fast car and a slow van or ute (for mx) many years ago i transformed my slow hilux ute into a monster with a 1jz gt30 single turbo and a 6 speed getrag gearbox from a jza80 supra. with 400 rwhp it was pretty scarey to drive and i sold it not long after i built it ..( only to have the new owner put it into a pole about a month later ) well this is my next project i just bought last night 1995 super custom 2wd petrol 2rz , 1 owner that privately imported it when he moved from dubai to perth western australia. i have been looking for a SC for a while and not seen any petrols locally , and all the others on the market are over priced ( in my opinion ) 13-20k was looking into importing one myself , but again 12k-14k by time it landed and 3 months wait i wasnt looking forward to waiting that long. nough dribble here's some pics of her, i even TEST FITTED my 18" mags from my jzx90 mark2 just to see how offsets fit . 1st mod limo tint windows, remove all rear seating and curtains , lower it ! and find some nice mags .. and when im ready i have a 1jzgte engine package sitting in my shed thats planning to go in .( i might still decide to go 2jzgte , so thats why im waiting out a bit ) digi dash and chocolate interior .. | |

| Welcome to the forums.. and keep us posted on any / all the work you do.. There will probable be interest on all the bits you decide not to use... Mines similar to yours but 3.0 diesel, 8 seat, no reversing sensors or digi dash. (or the smart wheels ) | |

| Same inside as mine but a lot cleaner/tidier!
Got single DIN cd/radio/multi changer and a cubby (nik nak) hole.
My dash surround has been butchered by an attempted break in and radio snatch, part of the reason why the previous owner put it up for spares or repair and I got a bargain.
Do you have the hot/cool box and kettle?
No sensors on mine either but with the rear mirror I can part inch perfect from other cars, if i make a mistake that's what the tow bar is for!
Mines Diesel and runs on 100% used cooking oil.

| Used Cooking oil! Do you hang around restaurants late at night waiting for them to close? How much cooking oil? Does it affect the running? | |

I have a supply from a good old UK fish and chip shop. 100% used oil till the temp gips below -5 oC, then I add 5% petrol. Runs well, a little less MPG/KPL than Diesel but a lot more grunt.

Mines Diesel and runs on 100% used cooking oil. Hey thats cool...price of diesel is getting out of hand at present. Are you able to list the parts and details of the changes needed to run on oil? Is there any major downsides to this? Does the tempreture effect how the van runs? Thanks in advance.
